CHASE OAKS FUN FEST II
The Chase Oaks premier social event of the year is Saturday, October 24th - our FUN FEST & Talent Show II.FUN FEST is set up as a Chase Oaks neighborhood street carnival with music, food, games and activities that combine for a great Saturday afternoon (4:00 - 7:00 PM) and a chance to meet your neighbors. Last year, local merchants donated over $6,000 worth of door prizes which were awarded to attendees in a raffle ticket drawing. This year, there will also be prizes awarded for winners of the four game competitions. Local businesses will have booths touting their services and ways to save money for your household.
The City of Plano Police and Fire Departments will also be here to demonstrate their equipment, give safety tips and answer your questions. Last year, we had more than 300 residents enjoy the multiple talents of our younger set (ages 6 to 17) who were competing for a $100 cash prize with their musical, dance, gymnastics, and instrumental acts.
Ani Mayo, who performed a crowd-pleasing tap dance routine last year, and Makenna Welborn, an accomplished gymnast, will be back to defend their first and second place performances.
